Literally the Neapolitan way to interpreting three different ways of diving “Cannonball, Header and Belly Flop”

You may wonder why the name of this rooms doesn’t remind the sunbject painted on the tile: trust me, it recalls it! “La Torricella” is the name for a part of road, the curve to by correct, that connects Minori and Maiori; has used to be called like this forever and also in local slang is as good landmark (ex: “I’m here on “la Torricella” or “I passed right now “la Torricella”).

As well as the road that meets this two “neighbors” towns, this area is often linked to diving: as children you began to dive from the smaller rocks next to La Torricella, passing then to the “harder” dive from “O pies e formagg “ (lit. The piece of cheese) or “O nas” (lit. The nose), which names are due the resemblance to this two sharp forms.

So here is ‘A Torricell: the extreme dip, reserved just for the more adventurous that, once they made this incredible dive from there, they’d had the cheer of all the guys present.

This room, the best here at Casa Amorino, has a beautiful garden view and a large window that gives to the room a unique brightness.

Provided with double bed and an extra single bed if needed, making the room perfect to accomodate up to 3 persons.

In the restroom Marco Fusco’s tiles (Marco is a renowned ceramist from Minori) remembers the colors of the sea and the writing on the walls as “Acqua azzurra, acqua chiara” (lit. Blue water, clear water - is a line of Lucio Battisti’s song, famous Italian singer) or “Nel blu dipinto di blu” (from the world-famous song by Domenico Modugno, lit means “in the blue painted blue”), will give you the feelings that all of us in Minori had as children jumping from that cliffs.

In the restroom you will find a courtesy set with gel shower, shampoo, hair conditioner and soap, hairdryer, vanity set, shower cap and towels set.

The room has also flatscreen tv, private air conditioning and kettle with tea and infusions.
